Job Description

Were recruiting for an Operational Risk Analyst to join us.

In this role you will support on specific deliverables on the assessment monitoring reporting and training of Enterprisewide risks controls and assurance using risk management tools and data analytics to provide meaningful insights into the operation and effectiveness of our risk frameworks and controls. In addition the role provides support to the 2nd line Business Partners in their oversight of Change and Group Functions.

What youll be doing:

  • Supporting oversight of the Non Financial risk areas including adoption and training on risk management policies and risk scoring of Inherent and Residual risks
  • Supporting NFR deep dives or lessons learnt reviews on material risk events or risk themes or supports assurance on effectiveness of controls including supporting reports of the outcome in a timely manner and to a high standard in line with company requirements
  • Supporting with risk management practices including the use of OSX
  • Supporting with the production of MI and reporting including monitoring of data accuracy to ensure reporting is complete and accurate
  • Working with and supporting the wider Enterprise Risk Management Team Change and Group Functions Business Partners to deliver oversight training and assurance on their relevant areas. This includes supporting on all relevant processes and procedures including RMICF and RCSAs. Also helping establish and support appropriate file structure to ensure effective filing and storage of all Enterprise Risk Management material such that relevant content can be found and extracted by team as necessary so we can efficiently support the business
  • Being a proactive and productive team member by constantly looking to develop personal knowledge
  • Working in line with all relevant processes and procedures to ensure that quality and governance remains of paramount importance throughout the risk management framework
  • Working with the wider Group Risk team to ensure that the appropriate process systems and controls are in place and that the risks and issues are identified and escalated in Group Risk to ensure that customers are treated fairly in line with Legal & Generals Customer Experience and TCF policy

Qualifications :

Who were looking for:

  • An understanding of and interest in Risk and Control management and a good understanding of IT and digital systems
  • Strong use of Microsoft tools
  • Experience of working independently to provide broad support to the Group Operational Risk function
  • Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with a variety of people at a range of seniority internally
