The Contract Engineer optimizes project risk and opportunity management through effective contractual management with clients partners and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Analysis and Compliance:
Analyze and summarize main contracts for project teams
Ensure adherence to contractual procedures
Risk and Claims Management:
Identify and analyze potential claims and contractual risks
Develop strategies for claim management and dispute resolution
Financial Oversight:
Review payment requests and subcontractor certificates
Assess financial impacts of contractual variations
Negotiation and Communication:
Lead contractual negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers
Draft and manage contractual correspondence
Project Optimization:
Identify opportunities for time and cost savings within contractual framework
Advise on contractual aspects of project planning
Qualifications :
You have a Masters Degree in Engineering or Business Law and over 5 years in contract management for complex project
You have proficiency in international contracts and strong knowledge of contract law and risk management
