THE ASSIGNMENT
As a Business Developer you will be an informal leader of a 3member microteam. With a Production Engineer who takes cares of the production process and quality and a Supply Planner who handles logistics. Based on the analysis you will draw up an action plan once a year to reduce production costs and to develop the business all within the framework of sustainability and ethical business practices.

You will be working in a multicultural team located both in Dortmund and Almhult and be responsible for suppliers located in Germany and Poland. A wide variety of ranges such as PAX and METOD are today produced at our suppliers in segments such as melaminefaced chipboard (paper) wrapped panels and wrapped profiles. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the largest category in IKEA where any action has a high impact and visibility. In Category Foil on Board we have welldefined mature and clear ways of working but at the same time we dare to challenge them everyday and work with continuous improvement. People development is the cornerstone of Category Foil on Board and we value and actively support the growth of the coworkers who are willing to take the extra mile.
