Key job responsibilities
Drive innovation as a vital strategist on Amazons Devices & Services team shaping the future of consumer technology.
Spearhead innovative business development initiatives for revolutionary firstoftheirkind products that will transform the lives of customers.
Architect and champion strategic partnerships from discovery to execution identifying gamechanging opportunities crafting winning agreements and nurturing longterm alliances.
Orchestrate seamless collaboration between partners and Amazons marketing product and engineering teams to accelerate success.
Command highstakes reviews with senior leadership delivering compelling insights on progress and strategic solutions to complex challenges.


About the team
The Amazon Devices and Services group creates and delivers experiences that are great on their own and magical when seamlessly working together to enhance the lives of our customers. As a Principal Business Development Manager you will define develop and grow key Amazon relationships and drive the strategy and execution of strategic partnerships for nextgeneration devices and services.

Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
Bachelors degree
7 years business development experience in the hightech and/or medical industries
Demonstrated competence in working independently to structure negotiate and close deals with companies of all sizes
Ability to communicate with and influence both technical and nontechnical audiences

Masters degree in engineering physical or biological sciences and/or MBA
Ability to think strategically innovatively and creatively and juggle multiple priorities to make things happen in a fastpaced dynamic environment; strong bias for action
Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and make decisions and articulate complex concepts to crossfunctional audiences
Demonstrated high judgement and willingness to roll up sleeves to do what is necessary to meet team goals

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
