Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in intelligence analysis cyber threat intelligence or crisis management.
- 3 years working in Crisis Management Event Response a security operations team or a fusion center strongly preferred.
- Proven experience leading and managing teams of intelligence or crisis management professionals.
- Ability to review information to determine its significance validate its accuracy and assess its reliability to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Deep understanding of the intelligence cycle and structured analytic techniques.
- Strong knowledge of cyber threat intelligence methodologies and frameworks.
- Experience in developing and implementing enterprise crisis management plans.
- Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM or similar are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with intelligence analysis tools and platforms.
- Knowledge of fraud detection and prevention techniques.
- Understanding of physical security principles and practices.
- Experience with business continuity planning.
This is a leadership role in the FCU Intelligence and Crisis Management team within the Resilience and Integration team. The FCU Crisis Management and Intelligence team is responsible for proactive identification and management of significant events and incidents which pose potential or actual risk to BMO business operations. The Director Intelligence & Crisis Management will provide leadership and expert intelligence and crisis management support to a dynamic team responsible for delivering actionable intelligence across cyber fraud and physical security domains as well as managing enterprisewide crisis response. This role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in the intelligence cycle cyber threat intelligence and crisis management frameworks. The successful candidate will mentor analysts foster critical thinking and collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.

Responsibilities:
Intelligence Leadership:
- Lead inspire and mentor a team of intelligence analysts and crisis managers fostering their professional development and expertise in the full intelligence cycle (requirements collection analysis dissemination) and crisis management activities.
- Develop and implement intelligence strategies to address evolving threats across cyber fraud and physical security.
- Establish and maintain intelligence collection plans ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of relevant information.
- Drive the application of structured analytic techniques to enhance the quality and objectivity of intelligence products.
- Provide strategic intelligence briefings and reports to senior leadership enabling informed decisionmaking.
Intelligence Collaboration:
- Build partnerships within internal security teams to collaborate closely with cyber fraud and physical incident response threat hunting detection and red teams to provide timely and relevant threat intelligence.
- Conceptualize and drive updated and new intelligence and crisis product lines and templates with stakeholders and business requirements.
- Support the proactive identification and mitigation of cyber fraud and physical risks.
- Facilitate the information sharing between security teams and the intelligence team and ensure analysts have expectations to coordinate and share information with security teams for contextualization of risk to the organization.
- Develop and maintain intelligence capabilities to detect and prevent fraud including internal and external threats.
- Oversee the collection and analysis of intelligence related to physical security threats ensuring the safety of personnel and assets.
Enterprise Crisis Management:
- Develop and maintain enterprise crisis management plans and procedures.
- Lead the organizations response to crisis events including technology outages cyber incidents and natural disasters.
- Collaborate with line of business stakeholders to assess risks and impacts and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Conduct postincident reviews to identify lessons learned and improve crisis response capabilities.
- Ensure that crisis communication is timely and effective.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Build and lead a highperforming team of intelligence and crisis management professionals.
- Foster a culture of critical thinking collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team members supporting their professional growth.
- Manage team resources and budgets effectively.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location skills experience education and qualifications for the role and may include a commission structure. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Groups expected target for the first year in this position.
