Primary Small Group Instructor

• Shared Vision: Supports a vision of excellence for all students with an urgency to maximize every opportunity necessary to achieve ambitious student outcomes
• Teaching and Learning: With guidance from and in collaboration with the teacher teach small groups during learning rotations. With guidance from and in collaboration with the teacher lead small group intervention for targeted students. Meet with the teacher regularly to discuss student progress and plan next steps for instruction and intervention
• Coverage Support: Leads the classroom in the absence of lead teacher
• Student Supervision: Supports campus supervision before and after school dismissal assists in any lunch administration activities such as escorting students to lunch and to the play area.
• Community Outreach: Demonstrates commitment to the community by communicating regularly with families and attending key community events
• Professional Expectations: Participate fully in all assigned staff meetings professional developments and planning sessions. Prepare lessons and student exemplars as assigned. Participate fully in the coaching cycle (being observed receiving realtime and postlesson feedback collaborating with coaches on action steps implementing action steps etc.) Support the general daytoday activities of the school site

Assessment Lead Duties:

• Organizes confidential testing materials
• Supports testing logistics with guidance from the Site Testing Coordinator
• Monitors testing progress
• Reports progress to the site Testing Coordinator
• Assists Instructional Aides as needed with testing
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal Assistant Principals and Coaches

Qualifications :

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree required
• Substitute permit preferred
• Experience working with schoolaged children preferred
• Desire to pursue a teaching credential preferred
• Bilingual Spanish speaker preferred

Pay Range: $21.50 $30.02/hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
