Job Description
What you will be doing:
- Actively sell group business with 15 guestrooms on peak ensuring monthly quarterly & yearly goals are met.
- Solicit and engage with new business/clients while growing existing relationships and capturing rebookings.
- Organize and conduct introductory & planning site visits in a professional manner that address the needs of the guests/groups while showcasing the hotels offerings.
- Create maintain and manage positive and strong relationships with all guests vendors departments colleagues and the global sales network.
- Conduct ongoing research within given market segment /region and participate in tradeshows conventions and promotional events.
- Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service while ensuring prompt and courteous service is provided to both internal and external contacts.
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Previous Group Sales experience minimum 3 years in a similar setting and being computer literate with Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills both written and verbal is essential with the ability to build relationships and rapport seamlessly.
- Proven ability to problem solve interact with many stakeholders and collaborate with various areas throughout the hotel.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to focus attention on guest needs while remaining calm and professional at all times.
- Ability to work well under pressure with strong attention to detail to ensure the highest level of accuracy.
