Job Description
Media Sales Account Executive
WPBFTV 25 the ABC affiliate in West Palm Beach FL is looking for an experienced Account Executive. As an Account Executive you will report to the Local Sales Manager and sell advertising to local businesses and negotiate buys with ad agencies. You will also solicit new businesses to advertise on our TV and Digital platforms. You will report to the General Sales Manager. Responsibilities
- Manage an active account/client list
- Produce revenue across all available platforms
- Prospect contact and present to new businesses
- Develop new revenue through local business development
- Conceptualize create and present sales proposals that are consistent with station strategies
- Achieve individual sales goals while contributing to WPBF 25s dynamic sales team
Requirements
- 1 years in media or digital sales or similar sales field
- Experience with the development of new business/nontraditional business
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience in a consultative customerfocused business atmosphere
- Accountability within a goalstructured organization
- Must be a team player
- Experience selling to business owners
- Understand and use qualitative research to further sales effort
- Related military experience will be considered
- Inperson attendance is required
