Amazons WW Ops FP&A team is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst with a charter to deliver insights and decision support to our senior leaders regarding Emerging Verticals (projected at $100B by 2032) and also support Steam/OLT goals. This is a highly visible role supporting several business and finance leaders (L8s/L10s) across major markets worldwide on goals launching planning review mechanisms and building topdown rolling 3YF financial models. The right candidate must have exceptional communication and analytical skills have the ability to dive deep and succinctly communicate findings/ideas as well as be able to navigate a dynamic and fast pace work environment.

Key job responsibilities
Form strategic plans to improve processes tools and analytics. This involves ownership of project ideation pilot implementation stakeholder management and ultimately expansion
Leverage Operations metrics to identify cost out opportunities by linking up operations and financials
Identifies risks evaluates impact proposes changes and implements improvements to remediate gaps
Drive automation and process improvement across planning topdown forecasting and goal management processes.
5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
5 years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
6 years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
6 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
6 years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decisionmaking experience
6 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
6 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
Bachelors degree in engineering statistics or business or Bachelors degree and 5 years of quantitative role (engineering process reengineering quality assurance) experience
6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
MBA or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
