Description
The CEO is responsible for leading the Foundation towards achieving its mission and strategic goals ensuring its operations programs and initiatives align with its vision and values!
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement strategic plans with Board approval to advance the foundations mission; identify new opportunities for growth and innovation for Board consideration.
- Set project priorities and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Financial Management
- Ensure the foundations financial health including budgeting and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Manage investments and optimize impact in line with the foundations investment policy.
Operational Oversight
- Ensure efficient and effective daytoday operations.
- Supervise and support the team encouraging a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Implement policies procedures and technologies to improve operational efficiency.
Stakeholder management
- Work closely with the Foundation Board to achieve organizational priorities.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Board and donor stakeholders.
- Maintain a close partnership with the corporate donor on employee engagement.
Development Public Relations and Advocacy
- Represent the Foundation to external partners including the media government agencies and the public.
- Build and maintain relationships with donor stakeholders partners and community leaders.
- Communicate the foundations mission vision and program priorities optimally.
- Advocate for the foundations interests and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Confirmed experience in a senior leadership role preferably within a nonprofit or philanthropic organization.
- Strong financial competence and experience in handling budgets and investments.
- Excellent communication and social skills.
- Proven ability to building manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of successful program development and implementation.
