The Challenge

Order Management serves as a core business partner within the finance organization focused on the analysis of data from several sources and the development of scalable solutions to ensure accurate booking and reporting of revenue. We provide worldclass support to our customers through collaboration across the organization. Our team promotes a dynamic culture fostering personal growth and career development.

What youll do

  • Acquire and maintain indepth knowledge of Adobes Digital Media software sales models including Consumer & SMB subscription & license buying programs; box product & digital channel partner ecosystem; enterprise subscription and term licensing programs; multiple volume transactional solution programs including maintenance & support renewals.
  • Utilize SalesForce and SAP (ECC CC and CI) to book enterprise opportunities and contracts for accurate downstream invoicing and revenue recognition using manual and semiautomated documented processes.
  • Actively review sales pipeline and corresponding deal information to anticipate potential booking issues or negative customer experience impact and work to resolve them during the deal negotiation process.
  • Conduct weekly reconciliations and other oversight activity to ensure accurate revenue booking/recording using SQL Excel and Tableau/Power BI report.
  • Partner with the departments crossgeo/organizational teams focused on data management innovation integration (acquisitions) and enablement to find opportunities to drive efficiencies through streamlining processes and system improvements.
  • Work crossfunctionally with multiple internal Adobe Departments (Deal Desk Revenue Assurance Sales ops Credit Legal Sales Product Delivery (Provisioning) Professional Services Tax Sales Finance etc.) Enterprise Customers and Partners.
  • Support increased workload and additional hours when requiredi.e. month/quarter end

Whats needed to succeed

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Meticulous committed adaptable inquisitive creative respectful collaborative and confident.
  • Competence with information management tools SAP (ECC CC) salesforce SharePoint or similar analytical and information management applications.
  • Demonstrable experience in a role involving critical thinking: i.e. ability to analyze complex deals make decisions and problem solve selfsufficiently without requiring ongoing direction setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customeroriented communication skills.
  • Experience in a role demonstrating excellent time management able to analyze workload and prioritize timebased on changing priorities.

Highly Desirable

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in a numerate or business field
  • Minimum 2 years of Order Management (or similar) experience in this sector.
  • Familiarity with SQL Alteryx and/or SalesForce reporting.
  • A proven ability to build strong trustbased relationships with business partners across the organization.
  • Knowledge of revenue recognition rules/requirements related to software/services
  • Good knowledge of operational quote to cash business processes.
  • Exposure to contract negotiation/drafting including Legal and Financial Governance

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $51200 $116750 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on jobrelated knowledge skillsand experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC base commission) and shortterm incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Nonsales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and shortterm incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition certain roles may be eligible for longterm incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
