We are seeking a Senior Red Hat Linux Administrator who will manage and optimize the Client Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments. The resource will be responsible for ensuring system stability security and performance while supporting a range of enterprise applications. This role requires advanced expertise in Linux administration automation troubleshooting and security best practices.

Role Responsibilities
Installing configuring and maintaining Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers across development testing and production environments.
Performing system upgrades patch management and security hardening to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
Implementing automation scripts using Ansible Bash or Python to streamline system administration tasks.
Configuring and maintaining Red Hat Satellite Identity Management (IdM) and other Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) ecosystem tools.
Collaborating with security teams to ensure systems are protected against vulnerabilities and comply with security policies.
Maintaining and optimizing storage backup and disaster recovery
Supporting application teams by providing guidance on best practices for Linuxbased
Maintaining documentation for system configurations procedures and troubleshooting
Participating in oncall support and incident resolution activities as
Setup Network File Server (NFS) and mount
Configuring Chron jobs for both systems and
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree or postgraduate degree in engineering computer science or related field.
Ten (10) or more years of experience as a Red Hat system
Fifteen (15) or more years of experience in Information Technology (IT)
Extensive Knowledge of Red Hat administration to include configuration and tuning
Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator: Highly Desired (Certification must be issued by Red Hat and include the resource s valid certification number).
Clearance eligible. Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for 3 years and Federal Tax compliant.
Additional Experience
Working in a complex networked system environment with strong Administering systems including but not limited to the applications below:
Oracle WebLogic Servers WebMethods
Oracle Database Servers Apache Web Servers
vSphere hosted RHEL Oracle Database
Red Hat performance
Load balancing partitioning backup/recovery and disaster
Working in an environment that requires 24/7 system administration (oncall)
Ability to:
work in a team Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrates leadership skills
Interface with users and helpdesk on a daily basis
Provide Backup/recovery and networking
Troubleshooting the Operating System (OS) database and application
