Summer Program:Credit Recovery & Advancement Haverhill High School

Positions Available:MATH TEACHER

Dates/Hours:

June 30th July 24th

Monday Thursay

8:45 am 1:15 pm

Subject to change based on student enrollment; start and stop times

Salary: $40.00/hr (DESE Licensed); $30.00/hr (NonLicensed)

Organizational Relationship

or Line of Authority:

Directly responsible to the Summer Coordinator and/or the Building Principal and/or his/her designee.

Statement of Duties:

  • Prepare curriculum pre and post assessment of students schedule and plan activities in accordance with the Massachusetts State Curriculum Frameworks.
  • Work as a member of a coordinated program with other teachers.
  • Possess a working knowledge of differentiated learning to ensure students success.
  • Maintains summer grade book and grades in a timely manner to provide feedback for students.
  • Completes daily attendance.
  • Responsible for other duties as indicated by directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designees; and policies of the Haverhill School Committee.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or higherrequired.
  • Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education 912 in subject area being taughtpreferred.
  • Minimum of three years teaching at the high school level.
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and
