Normal Work Schedule:Monday Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm
Job Summary:The Supplemental Instruction Program Coordinator selects trains supervises and evaluates supplemental instruction leaders and peer educators. Collaborates with campus partners Program Manager Director and Capstone Center for Student Success colleagues to develop and implement a comprehensive supplemental instruction program and an array of services to support academic success. Participates in assessment efforts to identify programmatic needs and accountability for program success related to specified learning and operational outcomes. Develops and implements appropriate and effective marketing and communication strategies to promote programs services and activities to students served as well as campuswide constituencies.
Required Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher and some experience.
Skills and Knowledge:Strong organizational and project management skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks attend to detail work independently and adhere to strict timelines. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to successfully perform essential tasks. Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:Masters degree in higher education student affairs college student personnel or related area. Experience with the development implementation and management of supplemental instruction or peer leadership programs. Experience in supervision advising academic coaching or student development in higher education. Knowledge and understanding of best practices in student development campus environments community and student learning theories and their application in practice.
