As the Trade Sales Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in supporting Merlins ANZ Trade Sales function. Youll work closely with the Local and InMarket Sales Teams to ensure seamless execution of trade activities and initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is organised communicative and ready to dive into the fastpaced world of tourism sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate Trade Partner databases.
  • Organise and support trade shows events site inspections and manage complimentary ticket requests.
  • Manage the ANZ Trade email with prompt and professional responses.
  • Prepare monthly APAC reports track wins and provide market insights.
  • Conduct research and partner analysis as needed.
  • Support various projects across the AsiaPacific region.
  • Review trade partners quarterly to ensure accurate pricing and updated information.
  • Oversee brochure and merchandise distribution to trade partners.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Operations on trade briefs and initiatives.
  • Work with Trade Ops and Marketing to keep promotional assets updated.
  • Manage ANZ purchase orders and track monthly expenses.
  • Lead CRM efforts for ANZ ensuring partner information is uptodate.
  • Assist in managing and delivering the Rate Matrix to trade partners.
  • Represent ANZ Gateway Attractions positively in all engagements.
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure trade materials align with brand standards.
  • Implement trade sales initiatives focusing on guest experience and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience or strong interest in a sales role within the travel or tourism industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to work autonomously with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and advancing in sales and marketing.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and excel in a fastpaced environment.
  • Collaborate with others to develop strategies that drive business success.
  • Approach challenges with creativity and resilience.
