Job Description

Harmony Academy Oregons first school for adolescents in recovery from substance use disorders seeks a skilled and passionate teacher to join our amazing staff. Harmonys innovative program is youthcentered and our team is collaborative missionfocused and supportive. Teachers enjoy small class sizes and a collegial environment as they help formerly disengaged youth find success in a publicschool program that integrates recovery into education. Harmony Academy has open enrollment throughout the year and a small population of unique students from all over the tricounty Portland area. Our mission is to provide a safe sober and supportive education for these youth in their early recovery where they can develop the skills and strengths needed for personal academic vocational and community success. Its an exciting are seeking a teacher to join our staff for thee 202526 school year. In addition to social studies classes the successful candidate will work with the instructional team to build a strong schedule of academic and elective offerings that support learning in a small specialized environment. Teachers must be licensed but under ORS 338 do not need to be endorsed in every subject they teach.
