What Were Looking For
The Whitmor Wire and Cable Business Unit Plant Manager is responsible for leading all activities related to Whitmor Wire and Cable Business including: Product Pricing Inventory Gross and Net Margin and PNL responsibility for Whitmor. This individual shall be focused on prioritizing production efficiencies (OTD Quality and Profitability) for the Whitmor Manufacturing Operation. They will be required to work closely with sales to deliver winning products to FDH Electronics customers globally.
What Youll Do
- Manage Whitmor production operation in Valencia
- Develop and lead Whitmor teams
- Develop KPIs for aspects of Whitmor operations
- Manage pricing and planning teams at Whitmorto establish resale pricing and lead times
- Leadership in the development of new product offerings for Whitmor
- Report outs to Executive Leadership on Monthly Basis
- Optimize inventory usage
- Define the product technology roadmap and potential product additions or reductions
- Be an expert with respect to the competition and understand market share trends
- Management of supplier relationships and evaluation of potential new partnerships and business opportunities
- Management of new part number and billofmaterial set up / maintenance
- Oversight of Quality department and processes within Whitmor
What Youll Bring
- Bachelors degree
- Strong communication skills
- Understanding of aerospace wire and cable market
- Ability to oversee a production operation
- Ability to present Business Unit results to executive management
- Ability to meet deadlines quickly and accurately multitask and work well under pressure with changing priorities
Special Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) orasylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
- ITAR requirement
