You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Workforce Program Coordinator oversees the daily supervision and implementation of CIS Workforce youth services and programs under the direction of the Workforce Program Director. The Workforce Program serves CIS youth and young adults primarily under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Youth Services funding in McLennan and surrounding rural counties in both OutofSchool and InSchool contexts.
Oversee Case Management of CIS Youth accessing Workforce Program Service Supports.
Includes supervision of Case Management Staff and leading out the delivery of a supportive pathways framework that meets client needs.
Oversee Workforce Programming Implementation.
Includes the supervision of Career Coaches implementing a Temporary Paid Work Experience Program.
Engage in Community Outreach Community Partnership and Youth Recruitment.
Includes recruitment of host sites for the Work Experience program. Includes building and maintaining relationships with key community partners and district staff to ensure identification of youth who meet high risk categories of Workforce Program Eligibility and access to CIS services for those youth.
Ensure Workforce files/documentation are implemented and compliant with contract requirement.
Organizational Tasks
Alongside Workforce Program Director manage the Workforce budget to ensure expenditure goals are being met per the contract
Alongside Workforce Program Director maintain and adapt policies and procedures to ensure compliance to current contract requirements and program needs.
Attends meetings trainings and other required functions of CISHOT
Assess staff training needs and arrange/provide as needed
Participate in agency project/activities as needed to assist CISHOT in carrying out the agencys mission and goals
At least (2) years Case Management experience required
Experience supervising staff members
35 years work experience in the fields of human services social work nonprofit settings or working with youth
Experience managing and supervising budgets and nonprofit grants
Familiarity with processing software programs (such as Microsoft Office) and case management software
Familiarity in working with individuals with disabilities
Uses person first language
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan and implement social service programs.
Excellent written and oral presentation skills required.
Strong relationship building skills. Effective intervention advocacy and negotiation skills.
Must complete and clear Criminal Background Check.
Spanish speaking desirable.
