Are you a dynamic and innovative professional with a passion for building meaningful connections Lehigh University is seeking an exceptional Associate Director of Regional and Affinity Strategy to join our Development and Alumni Relations team.
As part of the regional and affinity team within Alumni Relations you will play a vital role in connecting our 85000 alumni with Lehigh for a lifetime through communications digital programs events and volunteer opportunities. You will collaborate closely with the alumni relations team and regional gift officers to develop engagement activities that celebrate and expand the vibrant Lehigh Alumni Network.
Position Number: S76170
This position is a Grade: 9 40 with an approximate salary range of $55200$67180 and is subject to change based on experience skills and qualifications.
Key Accountabilities:
Oversee the direction and activities of regionalbased alumni programs including the communities and their volunteer leadership. Responsibilities include identifying recruiting soliciting and training volunteer leadership as well as managing reporting and evaluating activities of the communities. Meetings with communities occur virtually.
Serve as main liaison with internal stakeholders such as marketing events team and gift officers.
Work with regional & affinity colleagues to delegate host management by region when appropriate.
Act as primary liaison with travel agencies to identify 1520 annual trips and coordinate any event logistics with the agency.
Support programs housed within the Alumni Relations Team and others within DAR to ensure successful outcomes
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Three to five years of related work experience
Experience in higher education or nonprofits preferred
Experience building social media channels and adept use of digital communication preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Solid analytical decision making and problem solving skills
Ability to complete projects on time and on budget and report on status and progress
