Job Summary:
The Health Care Operations Coordinator coordinates activities with the Practice Manager to ensure efficient costeffective business operations of the practice on a daytoday basis by performing a variety of tasks. The Coordinator is responsible for providing efficient effective quality customer service through a variety of duties including but not limited to answering patient calls managing inbaskets through EMR informing patients of lab results entering orders and scheduling procedures. The Coordinator collaborates with the Practice Manager to plan organize communicate coordinate administer teach and evaluate nonclinical staff in their service to patients. The Coordinator contributes to the growth of the medical practice by promoting an excellent positive professional image and actively participates as a member of the team and carries out all leadership responsibilities per the policies and procedures of the practice and the University of Colorado School of Medicine (CUSOM).
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between patients team members and physicians for all clinicrelated issues within scope.
- Manage patient communication in a timely professional manner: inperson EMR inbaskets email fax telephone etc.
- Schedule clinic appointments and surgical procedures across multiple practice sites.
- Obtain and upload all necessary documents and lab results before appointments and surgery.
- Confirm upcoming surgery dates and patient appointments.
- Respond to patient requests such as selfpay estimates quotes for procedures and return to work letters via phone request email MHC and EPIC inbaskets.
Work Location:
Onsite this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Highlands Ranch CO.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree.
- 3 years of healthcare clinic experience.
- Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the associates degree on a yearforyear basis.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in management or a healthcarerelated field.
- 5 years of healthcare clinic experience in area of specialty.
- Ambulatory quality improvement (QI) experience.
- Experience in the use of registry data and quality systems.
- Medical Assistant Certified Medical Assistant or LPN preferred.
- Bilingual Spanishspeaking.
Conditions of Employment:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross healthcare provider level CPR certification.
- Must be able to work in person.
- Must be able to travel to alternate locations as assigned.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels to include physicians leadership and staff within the various affiliate organizations (CU SOM UCH Childrens Colorado CU Medicine).
- Ability to work within large complex healthcare systems.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as
$52344.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level.
