Job Description
Your work will directly influence how Amazon processes payments for millions of sellers vendors and partners globally. Youll be instrumental in modernizing and scaling critical financial infrastructure that supports Amazons worldwide operations and enables the next generation of payment capabilities.
The ideal candidate will combine technical excellence with a dedication to customercentric solutions bringing creativity and innovation to our mission of processing over $1 trillion in annual payments worldwide.
Key job responsibilities
Define design and implement scalable multitier distributed software applications
Estimate effort plan implementation and rollout system changes that meet stringent requirements for functionality performance scalability and reliability
Collaborate effectively in a fastpaced environment with multiple teams across the organization
Provide oncall support for missioncritical payment platform applications
Participate in the full software development lifecycle including coding standards code reviews and build processes
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
