Technical Documentation Internship

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Technical Documentation Intern to assist with internal audits of licensing software and hardware documentation. This parttime role is ideal for a current student seeking to gain valuable realworld experience in the IT and cybersecurity industries. No professional experience is required but a strong understanding of technical terminology and keen attention to detail are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Review and audit technical documentation related to software licenses hardware inventories and service agreements.
- Identify inconsistencies or missing information and assist with data correction or reconciliation efforts.
- Organize catalog and update records across multiple platforms and systems.
- Collaborate with technical and administrative teams to gather additional information as needed.
- Assist in developing templates and improving documentation workflows for future audits.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical acumen and familiarity with common IT and cybersecurity terminology.
- Highly detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook); familiarity with ticketing or documentation systems is a plus.
- Current student pursuing a degree in Information Technology Computer Science Cybersecurity Business Technology or a related field.
