Bishop Dunne Catholic School is searching for an experienced professional to foster the spiritual growth of the Bishop Dunne community through celebration of worship and pastoral outreach to students and community.
Bishop Dunne is the only Catholic diocesan school that enrolls students in grades six through twelve. The Bishop Dunne student body mirrors the diversity of Dallas with over 75% identifying as students of color and approximately half the students are Catholic.

Education/Experience Required: Bachelors Degree required; masters preferred; possess the credentials to teach Catholic theology or another academic discipline; active member of a Catholic parish; experience in campus or youth ministry preferred.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
The role of Campus Ministry and Catholic Identity Leader is to encourage expression of the faith not explicitly academic/theological but personal and intimate.
The Campus Ministry and Catholic Identity Leader will:
Be a positive and inspirational role model for all students and staff and maintain frequent communication with parents students colleagues and community;
Serve as the director of all liturgies and arrange logistics (priests readers volunteers) for the liturgies including weekly mass and other prayer services;
Develop and lead inspiring Campus Ministry programs after school for students;
Develop and plan events coordinating with Youth Groups and other parishes (Youth Nights Movie Nights Social Events) establishing Bishop Dunne as a center for youth ministry in the southern sector;
Work with Right to Life programs including March for Life trip to D.C. and locally for students;
Develop and supervise innovative programs for all ministries on the campus including community service gradelevel retreats occasional spring break pilgrimage and diocesan mission trip;
Network with other Catholic High Schools and their Campus Ministry programs;
Organize and train a rotation of students for morning prayer;
Assist with mentoring and training Eucharistic Ministers and Lectors for Masses;
Assist with management of a crosscurricular approach to guest speakers to promote understanding of social justice issues;
Attend Diocesan meetings for Ministry and professional development;
Serve as representative of school with regard to mission and Catholic Identity at larger functions and at board meetings;
Work with other departments particularly supporting the admissions efforts of the school;
Serve as a resource to students parents and faculty providing them with ideas and support as they work to strengthen their faith;
Teach in the middle and or high school each semester and Substitute teach as needed;
Assist in Orientation to welcome new students at the beginning of school year; and
Complete all other duties as assigned by the Assistant Principal of Formation and President.
