As an HR Advisory Support Analyst/Associate within our Human Resources team you will be at the heart of our HR activities providing essential support in delivering the HR agenda in the country. You will mainly support the HR Country Head in coordinating any HRrelated activities on the ground and you will also collaborate with EDSE/HR Central teams/COEs to support operational activities. This role provides the opportunity to expand your knowledge of HR matters manage multiple tasks navigate a global matrix organization and handle confidential information with care.
Job responsibilities
- Under guidance from HR Country Head (HRCH) support the implementation and delivery of HR activities and projects for the Athens Branch by ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- Provide daytoday support to local employees on HR related topics advising on local policies and procedures and escalate issues to HRCH as needed
- Review documents collected during onboarding process to ensure information needed for payroll input are correct interacting with EMEA Regional Payroll/EDSE as needed
- Process new hires enrolment into local insurances
- Ensure proper onsite storage of HRrelated paper documents (as provided by local regulations (eg Tables of employment H&S reports etc)
- Support effectively all critical HR processes and actively participate in HR projects aligned to key identified HR priorities
- Escalate HR operational inquiries and risk matters to HRCH and partner groups as appropriate/needed
- Facilitate feedback processes and other employee input initiatives e.g. action plans based on Employee Opinion Surveys Pulse Checks etc.
- Use HR tools and HR data reports efficiently including people metrics scorecards and diversity metrics as required
- Be a champion of HR process change to support core projects and key HR initiatives/activities also by connecting with HR colleagues in other countries to benchmark/leverage best practices
- Help developing/maintaining a positive and engaging work environment
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources with knowledge of Greekspecific labour law and practices
- Greek mothertongue and fluent in English
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Proficient in Word Excel and PowerPoint; system navigation skills
- Critical thinking analytical skills and proactivity to identify issues and propose solutions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Customer serviceoriented with strong communication skills
- Capability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines remaining flexible to manage priorities
- Comfort with handling confidential information
Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
- Experience in financial services preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
