Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Quality Intern is hosted by the Quality Department at one of our manufacturing/distribution facilities our technical center or headquarters. This is a 12week summer internship. Please note that we do not provide housing.
This Internship begins on May 19 2025. Intern will report to the Matteson IL Plant.
Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Companys staff employees and business relationships.
Responsibilities
Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the PlantQuality or Engineering team with:
Equipment analysis
New installations and facility revisions
Developing drawings and specifications for equipment layout
Investigation of new plant engineering processes and techniques
Administrative activities
Special projects as identified by the Quality Team
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future
- Must be currently enrolled inan accredited fouryear college or university at the time of the internship
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.8
- Must have at least one (1) year of experience with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word Excel PowerPoint Teams and/or Outlook)
- Must be willing to work up to 40 hours per week up to 12 weeks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Chemistry or Chemistry related majors
- Sophomore junior or senior class standing
- Previous Internship Coop or work experience in a related field
- Previous experience as a SherwinWilliams Intern or Coop
- Previous internship or coop experience in the SherwinWilliams Global Supply Chain Division
- Have previous experience working in a teamoriented setting including work experience extracurricular activities military service etc.
