Experienced Human Resources Generalist

The Boeing Company Global Services (BGS) Quality Operations and Execution (QOE) Human Resources (HR) team is seeking an Experienced Human Resources Generalist to join its team in San Antonio TX on second shift.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team aimed at shaping the future of HR at Boeing to drive business value for the San Antonio Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) portfolio and beyond. Each program has business growth and you will have the direct opportunity to enable the talent to service their amazing capabilities.

This role requires a handson visible presence on the manufacturing floor to ensure employees receive support and that concerns are quickly resolved. By partnering with managers and employees you will have a critical role in driving business value a bestinclass employee experience and effective delivery of HR programs services and support in the following key areas:

  • Employee engagement

  • Career and employee development

  • Employee performance

  • Leadership coaching and development

  • Integration and partnership across Operations broader HR team and HR Centers of Excellence including Ethics Labor Relations Total Rewards and Legal

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR support conflict resolution and relationshipbuilding at all levels serving as a liaison between employees and management enhancing communication and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a visible HR presence on the manufacturing floor for realtime engagement and solutions

  • Serve as a contact for employees at all levels addressing concerns guiding on company policies providing HR consultation and coaching and acting as a neutral party in resolving conflicts

  • Promote open communication and guide discussions to collaboratively resolve workplace issues in a positive and fair manner

  • Deploy and administer HR programs policies practices and processes and serve as subject matter expert (e.g. performance support employee movement leadership coaching etc.)

  • Partner with production leaders to align HR strategies with operational goals and address workforce challenges

  • Work closely with HR Centers of Excellence (COE) to provide input for the design of HR programs in specific areas (e.g. labor relations talent compensation training) and support the delivery of programs

  • Maintain records of employee interactions and resolutions or followup actions

  • Resolve or refer HR Service Center employee issues

  • Identify recurring employee concerns or trends reporting these to HR leadership to develop proactive solutions or interventions

  • Develop innovative solutions to complex problems and implement integrated HR initiatives that align with and advance organizational objectives

Working Conditions:

  • This role requires a consistent presence on the manufacturing floor with the ability to walk and stand for extended periods

  • Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment with exposure to loud noises machinery and manufacturing operations

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Ability to obtain program access for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only

  • 3 years of experience working with employees as a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) or Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

  • 3 years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs policies practices and processes

  • 3 year of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and linking relevant HR strategies to business outcomes

  • 3 years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement

  • 3 years of experience partnering and strategizing HR initiatives with senior leaders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors Degree or Higher

  • Human Resources certification (SHRM and/or PHR Certification)

  • Experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders

  • Collaboration across organizational boundaries to deliver an integrated final product

  • Excellent verbal written and presentation skills; highimpact communication style
