Are you certified as a registered dietitian who is passionate about delivering exceptional nutritional care particularly to Pennsylvanias most vulnerable populations The Department of Human Services is seeking a dynamic Clinical Dietitian to join our dedicated dietary services team. In this vital role you will oversee the planning and organizing of the nutritional care of residents at Warren State Hospital. If you are eager to make a meaningful difference with your knowledge and skills this is the perfect opportunity for you!
In this position you will oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive patient nutrition care program. Your responsibilities will include conducting nutritional assessments providing diet counseling documenting patient charts participating in treatment teams offering discharge counseling and leading nutritional education initiatives. You will also be responsible for creating modified diets adjusting recipes and educating individuals and families on key nutritional principles dietary plans food selection preparation and storage. Additionally you will monitor and evaluate food service quality assurance quality control and improvement efforts across all areas. Ensuring compliance with food service safety and sanitation standards will be essential. You will also utilize food service software to ensure the accuracy of diets as prescribed by physicians.

Special Requirement:
This position requires certification as a Registered Dietitian as defined by the Commission on Registration of the American Dietetic Association; or proof of eligibility for such certification.
