Description

Ecowize has been protecting brands in the food and beverage industry for over 20 years executing world class services products technologies solutions and systems. The Ecowize Pest Control and Hygiene Division is looking for an experienced and certified Pest Control Service Manager based in Bloemfontein Free State.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and lead Pest Control and Hygiene team.
  • Effectively resolve client queries on a daily basis.
  • Coaching and mentoring of staff.
  • Drive Occupational Health and Safety and make recommendations to improve the process.
  • Ensure internal and external audits standard are met.
  • Close out any raised nonconformance.
  • Liaise daily with customers.
  • Assist with recruitment for the region as the need arises.
  • Manage training interventions to ensure Pest Control Team understand all auditing standards to deliver service excellence on a daily basis.
  • You will be responsible for inspecting buildings and the surrounding property for signs of insects rodents and other pests.
  • Then determine which treatment is best and use the proper baits or traps to remove them.
  • Spray chemical solutions powders and gases on or near surfaces of a building or house to eliminate pests.
  • Identify invading pests including rats termites snakes wasps ants spiders mosquitos or bed bugs.
  • Set mechanical traps and place bait. Remove dead rodents after extermination.
Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Grade 12.
  • Pest Control Operator experience is essential.
  • PRegistration with Department of Agriculture.
  • Able to work flexible hours and overtime.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and be willing to travel.
  • Staff Management experience is essential.
  • Experience working AIB FFSC2022 Auditing standards is essential.
  • Good command of the English Language.
  • HighQuality administrative skills required.

The successful incumbent must have the following skill sets:

  • Must be comfortable with the Ecowize culture and values.
  • Able to work a strict shift position and willing to work over weekends.
  • Experience in the food production industry.
  • Must be able to manage the strict flow of operations.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic work environment and meet deadlines.
  • High work standards energetic and driven.
  • Excellent communication skills (English Command).
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Applications.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Customer centric.
