The Payments team is a wellestablished and integral part of Amazon and we are looking for a Software Development Manager to help lead our new team in Hyderabad. Join us as we continue to provide the best possible customer payment journey.
Candidate should be capable of breaking down and solving complex problems are customer obsessed and have sharp business acumen to build a product vision and roadmap that contributes to the success of both our internal and external customers. You are a technical leader with a track record of building and growing strong teams. You thrive in a fastmoving environment where you are able to juggle complex dependencies and requirements while producing optimal solutions. You are passionate about what you do.
Key job responsibilities
*Building leading and growing diverse inclusive and highperforming engineering product teams including recruiting mentoring motivating promoting and performance management.
*Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams including customers product managers stakeholders and leaders to ensure the successful delivery of product capabilities.
*Timely execution and prioritization of goals for the team and effectively mitigating risks.
Strategic leadership to create product roadmaps set the vision for the team and collaboratively partner with other stakeholder teams.
*Technical leadership including architecture and design discussions for science and engineering problems and technical deep dives to ensure resolution of root causes of complex issues.
8 years of software development experience
4 years of software development manager managing teams of more than 5 software engineers experience
2 years of building production software experience
Experience leading agile development teams and scrum spring planning
