About the Role:Synechron is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about development. The successful candidate will be reporting into the Manager/Head of Development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage software development projects within Synechron.
- Develop implement and maintain software applications with a focus on payments systems.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and improve application performance.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to develop their technical and professional skills.
Software Requirements:
- Strong experience in software development within the payments industry.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python or other relevant languages.
- Experience developing complex database environments.
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools like Maven.
Technical Skills:
- Indepth knowledge of payments systems and related technologies.
- Proficiency in software development frameworks and tools.
- Strong programming skills and experience in building scalable applications.
- Experience with Agile development methodology and software development life cycle.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery processes.
Experience:
- 6 years of experience in software engineering and development.
- Proven track record of delivering highquality reliable software applications.
- Experience working in a fastpaced Agile development environment.
DaytoDay Activities:
- Lead the development and implementation of software applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and build robust systems.
- Review code and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Mentor and coach team members on development best practices and new techniques.
- Engage in continuous learning and improvement to keep up with industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
