The Opportunity
Join our Corporate Cost Accounting department as a key player in maintaining analyzing and reporting on capital assets within the Corporate Group. Reporting to the Manager Corporate Cost Accounting this role offers a dynamic environment where your expertise will drive impactful financial insights.
What Youll Do
- Monitor Capital Projects: Oversee capital projects and perform monthend close activities using PowerPlan
- Lease Management: Set up and review new corporate leases within PowerPlan
- Journal Entries & Reconciliations: Prepare monthly capital asset journal entries and reconciliations
- Policy Communication: Understand and effectively communicate capital accounting policies
- Power BI Maintenance: Conduct monthly maintenance of Power BI reports.
- Cost Analysis: Analyze corporate costs including audit fees
- Project Support: Assist in business development project setup
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process
- Data Management: Assist in cost center master data and internal order setup
- Special Projects: Complete special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Undergraduate degree with a minimum of four years progressive related experience
- Certification: Professional accounting designation (CPA) required
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with counterparts in the company
- Strong Excel skills experience working in PowerPlan and SAP and proficiency with Power BI
