Join Exxaro Resources in Centurion as a Senior Project Engineer Design Civil where youll lead civil engineering facets in feasibility studies and ensure engineering standards and specifications are upheld. Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil engineering aspects within feasibility studies ensuring adherence to engineering standards and specifications.
- Oversee and coordinate design reviews ensuring projects meet lifecycle requirements and are delivered costeffectively.
- Act as a liaison between project and operational teams to ensure alignment and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Provide expert technical support and direction throughout the project lifecycle improving process flow and project integration.
- Manage project compliance with enterprisewide project management procedures focusing on risk management and quality assurance.
- Stay informed on technology advancements to enhance and expand technical capabilities within the department.
- Initiate and drive continuous improvement initiatives contributing to costeffective and innovative project solutions.
- Ensure effective people management by contributing to highperformance teams and promoting company values.
- Provide and review technical inputs for designs project reviews and hazard analyses to ensure operability and efficiency.
- Facilitate a safe and healthy work environment promoting compliance with applicable safety and health policies.

Minimum Requirements
- BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering (Essential/Minimum)
- 68 years of relevant management experience in civil engineering (Essential/Minimum)
- Registered with the Engineering Council of SA (PrEng) (Essential/Minimum)
- Proficiency in civil engineering principles and design
- Strong project management skills including lifecycle management and design processes
- Proficient in communication and collaboration with crossfunctional teams
- Experience in managing and conducting design reviews and audits
- Demonstrated proficiency in ensuring compliance to safety and quality standards
- Proven ability to manage multiple feasibility studies and complex engineering projects
- Competence in initiating continuous improvement for costeffective solutions
