Job Description
About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6700 students and employs more than 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students three elementary schools for grades 14 two middle schools for grades 58 and one high school for grades 912.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
- Technique Instruction
- Teach proper wrestling fundamentals: stance takedowns escapes reversals rides and pins.
Progress wrestlers through advanced techniques and counters based on experience and weight class.
Practice Planning & Execution:
Design structured practices that include warmups technical drills live wrestling and conditioning.
Focus on repetition muscle memory and situational training.
Match & Tournament Preparation:
Prepare athletes for individual and team competitions through mock matches and strategic planning.
Strength & Conditioning:
Incorporate strength training flexibility agility drills and endurance work into regular training.
Start Date:June 16thJune 18th
Contract: Seasonal
Schedule: June 16thJune 18th 12:001:15 pm
FTE:0.09375 (3.75 hours per week)
Salary & Benefits
Starting Rate: $25.00$27.00 per hour depending upon your experience with Community Ed
No benefit eligibility other than Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience in instructing/coaching in wrestling
