Learning Support Assistant

Glyn School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support students with further SEND needs. This role will be suited to experienced Teaching Assistants and those who are looking to start their career in teaching or gap year students from universities. We are interested in hearing from all candidates no matter what point in your career you are currently at.

Glyn Schools SEND department plays an important role throughout the school. We are an enthusiastic and supportive department who are committed to providing high quality teaching and support to our students.

We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to support students across all key stages in their learning. Prospective colleagues will be able to successfully support students from a range of backgrounds with a variety of needs. Working alongside classroom teachers you will provide inclass support out of class monitoring for students and enable them to overcome potential barriers to learning. At Glyn School we have a strong focus on high aspirations and on improving outcomes for young people. Our dynamic and dedicated LSA team is a core element of this drive and ethos.

The Details:

Start Date: September 2025

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours:26.5hrs (Term time only 39 weeks including INSET) Working pattern to be discussed with candidates at interview.

Pay Scale: GLF Associate 2 Point 3 23035 FTE

Actual Salary: 14587.42
