Medina Manor is conveniently located in Thornbury within the heart of Melbournes North West. Our Home offers all levels of permanent respite and palliative care whilst encouraging independence and lifestyle choices that suit the needs of every individual.
Medina Manor is also recognised for its expertise in caring for people living with Dementia and provides an enabling environment that focuses on person centred care that is unique to each persons individual needs and preferences.
About the Opportunity
We are actively seeking an experienced & dedicated Food Service Assistant to join our team on a casual basis. This is an excellent opportunity for you to further expand your hospitality skills in a supportive & structured environment whilst gaining job satisfaction.
This is a casual role in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will also be available to work additional shifts as needed such as leave cover.
About You
We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
- A current Safe Food Handling Certificate (or ability to obtain)
- Previous experience as a Food Service Attendant is highly desirable
- Flexibility to work across morning afternoon and evening shifts as required.
- Aged Care experience will be highly regarded
- Current Flu Vaccination Certificate
- Knowledge of good hygiene practices
- Good communication skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Professional presentation

The Successful applicants must complete a National Police Check provide proof of Flu & COVID19 Vaccination and possibly complete a NDIS Worker Screen.
