McNeese State University invites qualified applicants and nominations for the position of Assistant Professor of Accounting in the Department of Business Disciplines. This is a fulltime unclassified 9month tenuretrack position. The appointment begins in August 2025.

COLLEGE:The McNeese State University College of Business programs are accredited by AACSB International. The Lake Charles metropolitan area population of approximately 200000 people is a vibrant exciting area.

Position Duties/Responsibilities
The Assistant Professor is responsible for excellent teaching a commitment to intellectual contributions and service to the profession and the university. Main teaching duties will include but are not limited to management accounting courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
Required/Preferred Qualifications
REQUIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preference will be given to candidates possessing a terminal degree in accounting or related discipline. The successful candidates research record should be in compliance with AACSBInternationals standard on faculty qualifications. Applicant must hold SA status (Scholarly Academic) by the job start date. The successful candidate should demonstrate excellence in teaching a commitment to intellectual contributions and a desire to provide service to the university and the profession.
