Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and skilled Science Teacher to join an exceptional independent school in Peterborough. The school is known for its commitment to academic excellence and its wellresourced Science department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and will be able to specialise in one of the Sciences (Biology Chemistry or Physics) at Key Stage 5.
The Science department is equipped with modern teaching resources and stateoftheart laboratories offering an environment where teachers and students alike can thrive. The ideal candidate will be someone who is able to inspire students to achieve excellence in Science creating engaging lessons that encourage curiosity and critical thinking.
In addition to the teaching role there are TLR (Teaching and Learning Responsibility) positions available for candidates who are interested in taking on leadership roles within the Science department. These positions offer the opportunity to contribute to the development of the department and work closely with the head of department to drive further success.

Experience and Qualifications
Qualified Science Teacher with the ability to teach across KS3KS4 and specialise in one Science subject (Biology Chemistry or Physics) at KS5
PGCE or equivalent formal teaching qualification with QTS
Legal right to work in the UK
Strong passion for Science and a commitment to fostering a love for the subject in students
