Job Description

What You ll Do

- Set the framework Develop document and enforce accounting policies procedures and internal controls.
- Run the engine Oversee all accounting operations (AP AR billing trust accounting collections banking client relations).
- Support the team Resolve escalated issues and provide day to day guidance to accounting staff.
- Keep accounts clean Ensure timely bank reconciliations for operating and trust accounts; monitor unapplied cash trust balances and unbilled WIP.
- Reconcile & report Tie out key GL accounts maintain a robust chart of accounts and issue accurate monthly quarterly and year to date financial statements.
- Deliver insights Generate financial metrics and analysis for capital investments pricing decisions and contract negotiations.
- Own compliance Coordinate quarterly reviews/audits manage regulatory filings and ensure on time federal state and local reporting.
What You Bring
- Bachelor s in Accounting Finance or Business (or equivalent experience).
- 10 years of progressive accounting/finance leadership including department level oversight.
- CPA or CMA preferred.
- Proven track record designing internal controls leading audits and translating complex data into actionable insight.
