Job Description
- Oversee daily construction site operations for hotel construction projects.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors vendors and trades to ensure timely and quality completion of work.
- Ensure compliance with project plans specifications building codes and safety regulations.
- Lead onsite meetings inspections and resolve field issues proactively.
- Maintain construction schedules and update project timelines using tools like Microsoft Project or Procore.
- Monitor progress and report regularly to the Project Manager and ownership groups.
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and company safety policies.
- Ensure the highest standards of hospitalitygrade finishes detailing and workmanship.
- Collaborate with architects engineers and designers to resolve technical issues and implement design changes when necessary.
- Assist with material ordering inventory tracking and cost control.
- Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs inspection reports and RFIs.
- Minimum 4 of experience as a Construction Superintendent preferably with at least 3 years focused on hotel or hospitalityrelated projects.
- Preferred Strong knowledge of hospitality brand standards (e.g. Marriott Hilton Hyatt IHG) and FF&E requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings blueprints and specifications.
- Solid understanding of construction methods materials scheduling and safety.
- Excellent leadership communication and conflictresolution skills.
- Proficient in construction software (e.g. Procore Bluebeam MS Project).
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Ability to travel to project sites and work extended hours as needed.
- Experience working with hotel ownership groups thirdparty developers and hospitality design teams.
- Understanding of ADA requirements local code enforcement and inspection processes.
- Background in both new construction and hotel renovations including occupied environments.
