Job Description
As a Water/Wastewater Superintendent you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of water and wastewater construction projects efficiently and on schedule. You will be a crucial part of day to day management of project job sites including scheduling quality control safety management and ensuring that projects meet quality and safety standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise construction of water/wastewater infrastructure projects
- Coordinate and schedule daily activities of subcontractors and field personnel
- Work closely with engineers inspectors and project managers to resolve issues and stay on schedule
- Ensure compliance with project specs safety regulations and environmental standards and maintain accurate records of relevant data.
- Conduct safety meetings and enforce job site safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints specs and construction documents
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in water/wastewater construction industry with a minimum of 5 years
- Strong understanding of water and wastewater infrastructure systems including treatment plants pipelines and distribution networks
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards
