Job Description

Job Quick Facts:

Service Setting: Inpatient

Reason For Coverage: Supplemental

Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing

Coverage Type: Call Only

Call Schedule: Fri(7a) Mon(7a)

Up to 2 weekends per month

Patient Demographics: Pediatric & Adult

Support Staff: OR & Specialist support (trauma neurosurgery general surgery etc)

Required Skills:

Should be actively involved in the practice of reconstructive plastic surgery specifically relating to trauma of the upper & lower extremities hand surgery & craniofacial trauma and experience in general plastic surgery.

Required Procedures:

Complex facial trauma reconstruction both soft tissue & skeletal

Complex upper extremity trauma reconstruction including soft tissue & skeletal (adult & peds)

Complex lower extremity soft tissue reconstruction (adult & peds) General plastic & reconstructive surg (Breast & Body)

Distal radius wrist & hand) both adult & peds.

Total No. of Beds: 974

Trauma Level: I or II

EMR: Epic

Other Info:

No ICU Duties & will not respond to codes.

Hospital Privileges required: Yes

Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

Active NC License

Has experience w/ reconstructive trauma & general plastic surgery
