Red Ember Recruitment is looking for a seniorlevel Sales Representative on behalf of a wellestablished international logistics company that provides endtoend inhouse logistics solutions including warehousing storage shipping (sea 90% air 10%) and customs clearance. While the company currently focuses on managing logistics operations for a major multinational electronics brand they are now looking to expand their general customer base.
To support this growth they need a dynamic resultsdriven individual to build and lead the external sales function from scratch driving new business acquisition and increasing profitability across a wider range of industries
Duties:
- Independently identify target and secure new logistics clients across various sectors.
- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan aligned with company goals.
- Penetrate markets that require services such as import/export customs clearance warehousing and transport.
- Build and manage a personal sales pipeline reporting directly to senior leadership.
- Deliver detailed progress reports and datadriven updates using advanced Excel tools (pivot tables formulas graphs VLOOKUPs whatif scenarios).
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing contracts and postsales followup.
- Represent the company professionally at networking events and client meetings.
Requirements
- Seniorlevel experience in logistics or supply chain sales with a proven record of closing deals and exceeding targets.
- Existing market presence and industry network within relevant sectors (construction engineering etc.).
- Ability to work autonomously with no preexisting leads or sales support.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel as well as strong proficiency in PowerPoint Outlook and other MS Office tools.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt take initiative and deliver results independently.
- Deep understanding of logistics services especially sea and air freight customs processes and warehousing.
