About the Role
Benore Logistic Systems Inc. is seeking a Logistics Specialist A Shift to enhance transportation operations and ensure seamless supply chain efficiency. In this role you will oversee asset management enforce compliance monitor performance metrics and resolve logistics challenges to drive operational success. Your ability to leverage logistics technology and mentor drivers will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Asset Management Strategically oversee Class A CDL drivers tractors and trailers to optimize dispatch processes.
- Compliance & Safety Enforcement Ensure driver adherence to DOT regulations company policies and CTPAT best practices.
- Performance Monitoring Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ontime delivery route adherence and Hours of Service compliance.
- Technology Utilization Utilize logistics software including TMW Peoplenet and PCMiler for datadriven decisionmaking.
- Customer Issue Resolution Address service exceptions and customer inquiries providing timely and effective solutions.
- Operational Efficiency & Cost Control Develop strategies to improve asset utilization and optimize transportation costs.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship Supervise and mentor assigned drivers fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Process Improvement Analyze operational data identify inefficiencies and implement strategies to streamline logistics functions.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Management Transportation or related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of logistics or transportation experience.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience required.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management software.
- Experience with transportation systems such as TMW Peoplenet and reporting tools.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of DOT regulations CTPAT compliance and transportation best practices.
- ProblemSolving & DecisionMaking: Ability to multitask troubleshoot logistics challenges and implement solutions efficiently.
- Communication & Leadership: Exceptional interpersonal skills to coordinate with drivers management and customers effectively.
