Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and organized Events Assistant to support our Events Department in planning and coordinating a variety of events. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a passion for logistics and client satisfaction. This role plays a vital part in ensuring all event operations run smoothly from preevent planning to postevent wrapup.
Responsibilities
Assist in planning organizing and executing events from concept to completion
Coordinate logistics including venue arrangements vendor communication catering and supplies
Prepare event materials such as agendas name tags and signage
Serve as a point of contact for clients vendors and team members during events
Support onsite setup event flow and breakdown activities
Maintain event budgets and ensure all timelines are met
Conduct postevent evaluations and provide feedback to improve future events
Perform administrative tasks related to event planning and management
Qualifications :
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Event Management Hospitality Communications or a related field
12 years of experience in event coordination or a similar administrative role
Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings and weekends
