You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailCornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Immigration Compliance Specialist to lead our immigration compliance function with precision integrity and excellence.
Responsibilities:
Indepth knowledge of Form I9 and EVerify procedures including acceptable documentation (EADs autoextensions Form I94s Form 797C etc.)
Strong understanding of U.S. visa processes while this role isnt focused on crossborder immigration management visa sponsorship experience is key
Handson immigration compliance experience with a strong commitment to regulatory accuracy
Serve as a subject matter expert in immigration compliance for HR and leadership teams
Manage the endtoend work authorization process ensuring timely and accurate documentation
Coach train and support HR partners and stakeholders on compliance protocols and risk mitigation
Maintain accurate records and reporting systems for reverification and audits
Stay current on evolving laws policies and regulationsand translate them into practical guidance
Partner with legal counsel and external vendors to ensure compliance and high service standards
Lead due diligence efforts in M&A activities and special projects involving immigration
