Job Description

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

As a Corporate Tax Intern you will be responsible for the following:

  • Assisting with completion of various Sales Tax Returns Waste Tire Returns on a monthly basis periodic Property Tax Returns and completion of Tax Exemption Forms
  • Track notices scan and mail returns check requests maintain files etc.
  • Provide account clearing & reconciliations support
  • Miscellaneous clerical items/projects as required

Qualifications :

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program for at least another 12 months and can dedicate 12 months toward this internship
  • Pursuing a degree focusing on Tax Accounting Finance or similar
  • Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8 or higher
  • Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (MonFri)
  • Must be available to come onsite to our Fort Mill SC Tire HQ 3 days/week (MonFri)
  • Proficient with Windows Applications (Excel Word PowerPoint etc.)

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT

  • Working towards a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Tax
  • Able to work 30 hours per week during normal business hours (MonFri)
