Job Description

David Weekley Homes is looking for a proactive and detailoriented team member to join our Information Services Help Desk Team. This role serves as the first line of support for all DWH Team Members on internal business systems as well as common computer hardware and software issues.

Key Accountabilities and Objectives: (including but not limited to):

  • Communicate and work to resolve Team Members service calls in a timely and accurate manner
  • Learn and support the companys business systems for every Team Member
  • Assure that the quality of support meets departmental expectations
  • Collaborate with other support team members to share knowledge and ensure continuous service improvement
  • Work effectively with Application Developers Product Owners Business Process Analysts and Systems Engineers to communicate issues and fixes for systems

Qualifications :

We need an outgoing personality who works well with others is enthusiastic motivated has integrity and professionalism. The successful candidate will have some exposure to computer support and have a proven background in supporting business systems. This person will need to demonstrate proven customer service examples in their background.

Technical Requirements:

  • Solid skills in Microsoft Software including MS Office 365 and Windows
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve common computer hardware and software issues
  • Active Directory setting up user accounts managing groups and share permissions
  • Experience using remote support tools and ticketing systems (Zendesk Support is a plus)
  • Ability to read logs perform basic SQL queries or troubleshoot data issues (training can be provided)
  • Experience in a service desk or technical support role supporting business systems

The ideal candidate will also possess these characteristics:

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to balance competing priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to ask probing questions to get to the heart of a customerreported issue
  • Able to see the Big Picture while maintaining focus on the daytoday details that result in a high level of service


Additional Information :

Work Location: This is an onsite position based at our Houston headquarters located near the intersection of I10 Katy Freeway and 610 W Loop N Freeway.
