The Program Manager will fill the role of Release Train Engineer (RTE) for the Software Infrastructure Team. Software Infrastructure is focused on delivering the tools and capabilities our development teams need to deliver new business functionality by the Information Services department. The tools we provide are a critical technology enabler that ensures our company continues to be the recognized industry leader in global logistics.
The RTE is responsible for the facilitation of team events and processes and assists the teams in delivery of value. The RTE will communicate with stakeholders escalate & remove impediments help manage risk and drive relentless improvement. The RTE will report into the Software Infrastructure Senior Manager and work directly with the Product Manager Product Owners Architects Team Managers and various stakeholders across the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate and coach the group through processes and execution to deliver value
- Partner with the Product Manager and the Software Infrastructure Architects to maintain a strong narrative with clarity and purpose for the vision strategy and goals of the team
- Facilitate team events including but not limited to PI (Program Increment) Planning Scrum of Scrums LK1 ART Sync (if applicable) System Demos and Retrospectives
- Identify communicate and lead resolution of issues or risks to execution and delivery
- Support the creation communication and ongoing evolution of the Software Infrastructure roadmap in coordination with the Product Manager and Architects
- Understand highlevel technical design and requirements to support execution of the plan
- Influence and participate in agile AW2 release scoping
- Partner with Product Management Core and other Portfolio Architects as well as the Software Infrastructure Architects on release planning to the field and stakeholdersAW3
- Develop and publish metrics to track team progress and success
- Lead and coachAW4 teams in adapting to changes new opportunities and challenges that arise through relentless improvement of the team
This position is onsite and will reside in the greater Seattle WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

Qualifications :
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 4 years of Project or Program Management experience or Scrum Master/RTE
- A passion to lead inspire facilitate and communicate

- Strong understanding of a Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Lean/Agile concepts
- Indepth knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) principles

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Background in Software Development Systems Administration or similar engineering roles
- SAFe Certifications (Leading SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager Scrum Master Release Train Engineer etc.)
- Fouryear college degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar DevOps tools and demonstrated competency in leveragingt the tool to perform job responsibilities AW1
Additional Information :
Expected base salary: $100000 to $165000
