Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Engineer Water Infrastructure to be based in Bengaluru/Gurgaon/Mumbai India. Candidates will be responsible for the following activities:
- 12 Years (Exposure to outside India projects preferably UK USA Canada MER & ANZ region)
- Having hands on experience for Design of wet utilities Potable Water Storm Water Drainage Highway Drainage Treated Sewage Effluent & Sewerage network (pressure plus gravity design experience with the help of AutoCAD 2D AutoCAD Civil3D Open Roads & MicroStation)
- Capable of designing the pumping stations general arrangement road/bridge crossing structures typical valve chambers etc.
- Having experience with any Hydraulic modeling tools like Water Hammer Sewer GEMS/Infoworks ICM Infoworks WS Pro/ WaterGEMS Info Drainage HECRAS would be advantage.
- Provide technical support to designers for relocation/shifting of assets asset tagging connection drawings standard drawings etc.
- Clash Analysis experience using Navisworks
- Experience in working in Common Data Environment (ProjectWise BIM 360 ACC)
- Capable for leading the project coordinating with Lead Office mentoring juniors and ensuring quality checks
- Should be capable of leading multiple projects with different geographical locations same time.
- Provides training and technical support to Engineers designers on understanding design standards adopting digital tools
- Additional skills like team management project management resource planning project budget planning estimation is must
Qualifications :
The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications:
- Masters in civil / water resources / Environment / PHE
- Preferable to have or working towards Professional Qualification such as . (ICE) or . (IET) or C. CIWEM.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well independently at times.
- Able to see the bigger picture and take a birdseye view of projects
- Confident with the ability to work either independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
- Accountability for assigned work.
- Accuracy & precision of work.
