Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Lubricants Scheduler to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring customer orders are dispatched on time and in full with a significant impact on customer service. You will manage the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) offer ensuring seamless execution of deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operationalize key customer deliveries including packed bulk isotainer flexibag and mini bulk.
  • Resolve daytoday operational issues and troubleshoot computer interface errors.
  • Engage with the Customer Service Team (CSC) for Proof of Delivery (POD) and urgent order queries.
  • Optimize load plans for highest vehicle utilization and lowest cost to serve.
  • Monitor customer stock levels using VMI and plan deliveries to prevent stockouts.
  • Liaise with customers and service providers for short notice orders or product redirection.
  • Manage and maintain the installation and monitoring of Automatic Tank Gauging (ATG).
  • Communicate and build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Participate in HSSE activities including Customer Site Assessments (CSA).

Accountabilities:

  • Identify and resolve variances in resource performance affecting delivery.
  • Schedule urgent orders and assist with outofhours supply requirements.
  • Verify review and process transport invoices.
  • Provide backup for scheduling grease swap hoppers and customer returns.
  • Capture and report on key performance indicators (KPI) related to delivery performance.
  • Participate in weekly Ontime Infull (OTIF) meetings and contribute to root cause analysis.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications :

  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Working knowledge of MS suite including excel
  • Experience in logistics and/or customer service roles would be an advantage but not essential
